Writing drama has become second nature to me (lol), and if I had more time, I’d add a bit more tension to Vee and Lazarus’s story. I know annotation is a big thing in the reading world, and honestly, I really want to get into it! But for the life of me, I cannot bring myself to write in my books. Sorry, just can’t do it. I’ll highlight in my Kindle app, but physically marking a book feels like defiling it, LOL. For those of you who do annotate—how did you get past the old-school rule of never writing in your books?

For my fellow readers who lived through the Vampire Craze of the mid-2010s—anyone else still swooning over Vampire Academy, Twilight, and True Blood? 🖤✨

Back then, sure, tropes were a thing, but it wasn’t like we were walking into Borders asking, "Where’s the Enemies to Lovers section?" 😂 We just knew the vibes.

Thinking back, what was one of your earliest favorite tropes?

I know teenage me was ALL about opposites attract—whether it was the good girl/bad boy or sunshine/grumpy. I mean, anyone else think Heath from the House of Night series was just the ultimate cinnamon roll? 😍

I’d love to hear what tropes or characters from that era still have you hooked.

World building is such a wild ride 🤯

I’ve got Pacific Grove University (PGU) as its own little “world,” but technically The Last Minute First Lady exists in it too because, surprise, Cami and Marsh make a cameo at Jolie and Cassian’s wedding reception! 👀

But here’s where it gets tricky... In the new series I’m writing, you’ll see Jolie and Cassian again—just quite a few years in the future. And I already have another series planned that fits within this new world... which also connects back to my PGU/TLMFL universe?!

🌀 It’s like one big, interconnected web, and honestly, I’m trying to figure out what to even call it.

What do y’all think—should I name this universe, or just let the stories speak for themselves? Drop some suggestions below! 🙃✨
